13 Flavors

The Summer heat is intense and nothing cools me off better than ice cream.
Best of all they just put up a Baskin-Robbins on the corner of my block!

Here are 13 flavors I have tried, want to try, and will go to the ends of the earth to find;)

Contest Judging Teaches Me A Lesson

A few months back there was a call out for judges for the Chicklit Stiletto contest. I thought what the heck, it sounds interesting. Of course I forgot about it and sure enough the entries arrived in my mailbox around the same time as edits for my book, a deadline for a novella and other stuff. Isn’t that always the way of things?

Thirteen Reasons I Love Going to America

1…. My family — I get to see them once a year if I’m lucky and I just love every minute of it.

2…. My friends — Several of my friends from grad school are all reuniting in San Diego. I haven’t seen some in years, ie BK (before kids.) Should be a blast.

3…. Bookstores — I

Rock On

The fabulous Tink crowned me with the Rockin’ Girl Blogger award. I sooooo deserved this as you all know.

Now I get to tag five other rockin’ blogger chicks (the only kind of friends I have.) Now I’m trying not to tag someone who already received this prestigious award, but if you’ve been tagged before, just consider this your lucky day ‘cuz your rockin’ girl blogger squared or even cubed. Now there’s a title.

I hereby pass the award on to

Birthday Meme

Miss Frou Frou tagged me with this birthday meme. The rules are pretty simple. You go to http://www.wikipedia.org and type in your birthdate. Then you write down 3 events, 2 births, and 1 holiday.

This is a pretty easy meme for me because my birthday happens to be one of those days where stuff happened. History buffs will recognize right away.
