Terra Firma

I landed in Los Angeles on Friday, after a ten hour flight. I’m still jet lagged, waking up at 5am and completely loopy by 9:30pm. The kids of course had no problem adjusting. Last night we went to Filippi’s Pizza in San Diego’s Little Italy for the best pizza. It is so great to be back here.

I read two books on the flight and am digging into all the books my mom saved up for me. So far I’ve read Seize the Night by Sherrilyn Kenyon, Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian, Safe Harbor by Christine Feehan and Blood Secrets by Vivi Anna. My paranormal fix is still not sated. I need to hit the bookstore soon. LOL!

So what are you all up to? Read any good books lately?

Welcome back to the US of A! Now that the kids have had pizza, is it time to move on to hot dogs? Ice cream?

I’m about 3/4 of the way done with Tina Brown’s bio of Princess Diana. I wish it wasn’t constitutionally impossible for me to not finish a book once I’ve started. It’s so sad, reading about her trying to start a new life while knowing how it ends.

I read Kiss of Midnight and enjoyed it thoroughly. I just finished a great mystery- Murder in Chinatown by Victoria Thompson, very good book (her whole series is). Enjoy your trip.
