I leave on Thursday for Tokyo. Time has flown by so quickly. This vacation was about being with family and trying to relax. I’ve been stressed lately with stuff and I really needed this break. I feel like just when I’ve started to relax, it’s time to go back. I love it here and am going to miss it.

We’ve been to the beaches a few times and ate out way too much. My stomach can’t handle all those calories and portions. LOL! Tomorrow, we’re heading over to San Diego Bay where we’ll take the kids to view the Star of India and maybe do the carousel over at Seaport Village. Should be lots of fun.

I’m in part panic mode as I try to think of all the things I need to pick up before we leave. I’m probably not going to make it back next year and need to stock up on whatever I can. I usually like to get the kids Xmas gifts here too, but this year I haven’t managed to find much that catches my eye. I did pick up a few new authors at the bookstore for myself. Hopefully, I can discover a new series to get hooked on. I still have a bunch of ebooks that I’m dying to read once I get back. I so want a reader, but winced when I checked out the price. They sure aren’t cheap.

In any case, I plan on enjoying my last few days, squeezing every drop of time I can with mom, dad, my aunts and cousins. There’s still the pool and beach and Chuck E. Cheese for the kids to look forward to. And then we’ll be on that plane winging our way home. I’ll let you know when we’re back.
