I sent out my July newsletter highlighting all the going ons for this month.

I tried a new tactic this time. The format layout was great. I had the video embedded in it. A cute sidebar with all the info for the book. Great graphics and even a contest run by a radio station.

Couldn’t be more perfect. Or so I thought.

Well anyway, it seems Hotmail took issue with me sending out a billion emails. They closed my hotmail account!

I’m like what the f*%$!

Seriously, give me a break. I had to freakin’ do that stupid letter crap to verify I am human being each time I sent out an email, so I think it wouldn’t be considered SPAM. Which by the way is very difficult with someone with LD Dyslexia. I have written to several companies stating this practice is unfair but I am in the minority so BOO HOO to me. So, I deal with it but Blogger is the worst with this letter protection garbage. And now hotmail and yahoo have jumped on this bandwagon. Well with due dilligence I do the stupid SPAM protector. Guess it isn’t good enough.

Well, I guess someone took issue with getting a newsletter and contacted Hotmail about me SPAMMING them. Seriously, folks. Give me a break!

I must get tons of newsletters from authors everyday. I never hit the SPAM button on them. I either email back to be removed from the list or delete it. What is the big deal?

It is not like I am asking for hot sex or trying to sell them used spare car parts or fake raffles to an International lotto.

Anyway, needless to say, all my contacts that I have worked very hard to get and all my other info from my pubs has gone into cyberspace.
So to anyone trying to contact me. I apologize if you are getting a bizarre message back saying that Gabriella Hewitt @ hotmail . com no longer exists.

I guess this is a lesson for me. Next time I will take the time to put up the little blurb about asking to be removed from the mailing list. Usually I do this and only once has anyone from the list I have been using for the past year contacted me back to be removed and it was to tell me to update their new account info.

Guess the world has become too PC for me. This won’t detter me. Not the least. I will get my hotmail account back up and running and start all over again soliciting emails from friends and family.
