I’m a Faerie

Check out my faerie name. I have to admit I was hoping for something more sunny and sparkly. At least it says I am a bringer of riches, though I’m not sure where said riches are.

Your fairy is called Bracken Goblinfrost
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives where bracken and curling ferns grow.
She is only seen during the first snow of winter.
She dresses in leafy bracken-green. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

Wicked Wednesday

Here is my pick for hot hunky man. Alex O’Loughlin

I loved him in Moonlight as “Mick” Seriously, a vampire PI. Can you get any sexier?

In Three Rivers he sent chills up my back as Dr. Andy. He knew how to make scrubs hot!

And now he is a cop in Hawaii. Somebody book me a ticket to the pacific!

BIOGRAPHY
Audiences fell in love with Alex O’Loughlin and his starring role as Mick St. John in the vampire drama “Moonlight,” on the Network. He went on to star in the CBS medical drama “Three Rivers,” and was most … Read More »

Totally Jazzed

I attended the Japan Writers Conference yesterday. It was inspiring. I had a great time meeting a diverse group of writers and simply talking writing. I gave one of the first presentations on the W-Plot. I ended up with a full room of people, which made me a little nervous, especially when they seemed so focused on everything I said. After about 40 minutes of me talking, I fielded several questions. My audience seemed to find the talk quite useful, and I found myself answering questions later in the day or receiving compliments. It made my day. I love talking … Read More »

Japan Writers Conference 2010

I’ll be giving a presentation tomorrow at the Japan Writers Conference. I’ll be talking about the W-Plot: A Fiction Writer’s Tool. It’s a very useful method for plotting your story and I look forward to introducing it to other writers.

I am very psyched about tomorrow’s event. There are all kinds of workshops being presented. One of the best things about this huge event is that it is free. I don’t know of any other writers conference that can say that. The university donates the facilities and the presenters all donate their time and knowledge.

Most of my interaction with … Read More »

Manic Monday – Clown Wins Election

Yes! I knew it. Finally someone tells the truth. Atleast this clown wore the outfit. There is no hiding it from the voters that they elected a clown. GO, Franscico!

Courtesy of Reuters – SAO PAULO — Voters the world over complain about having clowns for politicians, but Brazilians embraced the idea on Sunday by sending a real one to Congress with more votes than any other candidate.

Francisco Everardo Oliveira Silva, better known by his clown name Tiririca, received more than 1.3 million votes in Sao Paulo state in Brazil’s presidential and congressional elections. That was more than double … Read More »
