Flu season is here and I am totally under the weather. Moved down south to keep warm and avoid catching a cold but I see you can’t out run a virus. So here I am with a hot mug of coffee in my hand, pink fuzzy slippers on and a hot pink sweater zipped up to my neck. This month I’m taking a steampunk workshop with the lovely Lolita Suzanne of Steamed! She’s a fabulous lecturer and if you want to learn more about steampunk, I recommend you sign up if she offers the course again. I have to say, too, that this has been an interesting workshop with a great deal of class chatter on anything and everything to do with steampunk. People are into it! I’ve been lusting after the Kindle for a while. It’s only recently that Amazon has made it possible for International subscribers to be able to access it’s huge Kindle library. Once that happened I’ve been counting down the time until I get one. Of course, I spent more time than I want to admit to going over the pros and cons of the Kindle vs. the Kindle DX and the wireless vs. 3G vs wireless and 3G, all the while drooling over my screen.
