The first group I ever saw in concert was Queen. I was a young teen, my best friend was dating an “older” guy and she invited me to tag along with them. We sat way up in the stratosphere, but who cared? I was at my first-ever concert and I was watching Queen. Of course I probably knew all of two songs at that time. So what? Those songs still rock.
We are the Champions is probably the most famous. I hear it quite a lot here in Japan on TV commercials and other stuff. I know it’s a favorite in the U.S. Then there’s Bohemian Rhapsody with its mix of ballad, operatic passage and hard rock. Not an easy song to sing–or so I thought.
Check out this family on the way to school singing Bohemian Rhapsody. What a fabulous way to make the commute fun, to teach your kids about awesome musicians, and to create a special family memory. I’ve got to add that the kids in this video are adorable.
So tell me, for those of you who take your kids to school. How do you get through the time in the car? For those without kids, do you have any great commuting memories to school? I rose the bus, which is a whole different animal.
