Review me please!
Yes, I am begging.
It isn’t dignified, nor is it pretty but asking for people to criticize your work is a necessary evil.
Reviews. Why do we need them?
Simple.
We need them to help get the word out that your book exists.
Sort of like the song from NERVO :
We’re all no one ’til someone thinks that we’re someone
Until then we are no one
And you got me looking at you, looking at you
Pretty much reviewers are the one’s that can get you talked about and not just one reviewer. The more the … Read More »

ON THE BLOG
Yeah! A new month and a new look for me!
I decided to do a bit of Spring cleaning and freshen things up a round here. Recently, I had the fabulous Croco go and do a few tweaks to the website to give it that extra pizzazz. I am almost finished with my latest novel, Mountain Shadows (working title) and I decided to add a bit more flavor to the bolg.
What can you expect?

Tooting my own horn here. Last Monday, I posted about my fabulous blog tour put on by Innovative Online Book Tours. It’s only just begun, but already I’ve gotten one fabulous review that just made my weekend. It ranked right up there with the luxury gifts I received from my kids for Mother’s Day. Okay, I’m kidding about the last part, though I did have a great day.
The blog Bodice Rippers, Femme Fatales and Fantasy posted their review last Friday and it’s a total thumbs up.
Here is a bit of what reviewer, Lisa, had to say:
Shadow

Haevyn by Darcy AbrielRating: 4 out of 5 STARS
My review:
Loved the second installment of the Humanotica series. It was nice to follow Entrues and see where his path led. Haevyn was a new character and a strong woman with more of a role in this novel than Silver in the first novel. I loved the sexy scenes and fantastic world building. Darcy Abriel has created another wonderful book in which I was totally immersed.
Blurb:
Duty and honor demand the ultimate sacrifice.
Humanotica, Book 2
Everyone has their poison. For Haevyn Briena, it’s her inability to … Read More »

This is the coolest image! I have to admit that I couldn’t be happier. Why? Well, in a few short weeks, Shadow Visions, the second book in the Shadow Warriors series will be released! Hopefully strring interest in Aztec/ Mayan mythology.
An awesome shot of light rising from the temple straight into outspace. Is it to contact aliens or ancient gods?
I have no clue but to me the image evokes thoughts of Aztec Gods, end of the world 2012, good versus evil, and the Aztec Calendar.
All so very prevelent in the Shadow Warrior series!

I am so happy to introduce Jeff Erdmann.
I’ve known Jeff for a few years now. He is a magnificent musician and teacher. Jeff is also the person that did the awesome music for my Out of the Shadows trailer.
Not only is Jeff talented, he is one of the sweetest people I know. He was recently interviewed on The Jazz Hour Show this past Saturday on WFTE.
Scroll down and click on the link to listen.

Here is what Tami V. from San Diego RWA had to say on Amazon.com about Out of The Shadows!
5 Stars
“If you’re looking for a jam packed quick read, then this is for you. This novella is full of lush descriptions and enough Aztec history to make you turn the page for more. Carolina tries to be just an ordinary woman, but there is nothing ordinary about her and as a reader you know that from the first words. Add in Tomas, an ancient Aztec Shadow Warrior, and you can feel the soul searing sparks between these two characters … Read More »
